Not All Students Use Pirated Software. One group of people who become targets of the distribution of pirated software may be students. Because the survey was last conducted Business Software Alliance (BSA) to try to observe the reason behind the use of pirated software among students.

400 students surveyed BSA early this month, about 60 percent know that the Internet site which provides software pirated or sell at bargain prices. About 30 percent of them are even planning search software that interest in the holiday season last year.

When asked from where they get pirated software, most said from the family or friends. Some 82 percent also mentions sites that disseminate through the usual peer to peer networks like Limewire, BitTorrent or auction sites like eBay and iOffer.com. (more…)

Google Prepared Patch for Chrome

After making several updates that are related to maintenance, Google is currently preparing updates that will fix security problems. Update also will provide interpreters JavaScript V8 better.

“We prevent the files connected to the local network with XMLHttpRequest () and also ask you to confirm if a download is the form of HTML files,” said Mark Larson (Program Manager, Chrome).

Dual Core Intel Atom More Fast?

Double means more, exactly two times more. If we are netbook Atom Intel dual-core, we can certainly expect their performance over twice is not it? This is currently considering netbook been Intel’s Atom single-core (N270).
The assumption was not not always apply. According to PC Pro, with two processor cores do not always perform two times faster than single-core CPUs.
