The latest news, Intel is preparing Medfield, a code name of the Atom as well. As we know intel is the largest processor supplier for Ultra Mobile PC or UMPC.

Scheduled releases in the second quarter of 2010, the processor is the size of 32nm and is the successor Lincroft, part of the Moorestown platform. Interestingly, the Medfield will be published in one package alias system on chip, not as Menlow and Moorestown, which has a CPU + chipset.

According to UBS, Medfield will consist of two variants, one with a graphical level and only with handheld graphics netbook more fat. No details about whether there will be GPU in each processor, but it is estimated that netbook variants will use a version of Intel’s integrated GPU is now, while the handheld version will still have the PowerVR core.

Intel Introduce New Processor: Core i7

Already two years Intel introduced great Core 2 Duo processor. Now, Intel officially introduced the new generation desktop microprocessor, Core i7 (previously known by the code name Nehalem). This new CPU faster than the Core 2 Duo, even ordained as the fastest CPU available at this time.

Core i7 launched in three versions Quad-core target for the three segments of the desktop PC market is different. The first is the basic model 920 (2.66 GHz) with the official price of U.S. $ 286. The second model is 940 2.93 GHz with a price of U.S. $ 562, while the third model is the 965 Extreme Edition 3.2 GHz with a price of U.S. $ 999.

Dual Core Intel Atom More Fast?

Double means more, exactly two times more. If we are netbook Atom Intel dual-core, we can certainly expect their performance over twice is not it? This is currently considering netbook been Intel’s Atom single-core (N270).
The assumption was not not always apply. According to PC Pro, with two processor cores do not always perform two times faster than single-core CPUs.
Rather, its performance is not always two times faster, because the way the software does not work like that. However, dual-core chip is better in handling several tasks than one processor core. (more…)

Start Up Core2Duo di Windows XP Lambat?

CoreDuo seri E21XX core2duo seri E4XXX dan procie lappie seri T2XXX terkenal lelet saat start up windows XP. Hal ini terjadi karena processor-processor besutan Intel tersebut bisa menaik turunkan clock secara otomatis tergantung kebutuhan, dan sialnya saat start up clocknya malah turun.
Tidak masalah.. Yang kita butuhkan adalah hotfix WindowsXP-KB896256-v4-x86-ENU yang bisa kita download dari site-nya mocrosoft. Install, kalau sudah selesai dan minta restart, restart aja. Coz saat temen saya nginstall hotfix itu ndak direstart hasilnya sama, podho wae alias sami mawon lelet. Kalau kompie atau lappie coreduo, core2duo anda jadi kenceng minya komennya.. :hehe:

Mempertaruhkan Nyawa Demi Laptop

Sekitar satu setengah tahun yang lalu saya membicarakan tentang keinginan saya memiliki laptop. Saya tanyakan dulu kepada ibu saya. Kira-kira bunyinya seperti ini, “Bu, Gadhah duwit mboten? Menawi gadhah mbok tumbaske laptop. Kula butuh laptop damel ngenet gratis ting kampus, seminggu kula ngenet telas 40ewunan je, menawi dikempalaken ngantos kula rampung kuliah saged damel tumbas laptob niku. Lha jaman sak menika niku sarwa canggih, nggarap-nggarap tugas kuliah kedah pados wonten internet.” Lalu ibu saya menjawab, “Wah ora ana je le, dhuwite kanggo kebutuhan liyane dhisik sing luwih penting” Sebelum saya ngobrol-ngobrol dengan ibu saya saya sempat berfikir untuk membawa komputer desktop saya dan saya pasangi wifi kaleng, tetapi bapak saya tidak memperbolehkan, karena kalau komputer desktop saya itu saya bawa maka saya bisa lupa waktu, waktunya makan ndak makan, waktunya mandi ndak mandi, waktunya pipis ngga pipis, karena maen game teruus. “Nek komputer kuwi tok gawa kowe isa lali kuliah”, kata bapak saya.

Indonesia Menjadi Tempat Sampah

Di Kota-kota kecil seperti Magelang, Temanggung, Parakan, ada tempat penjualan pakaian bekas. Kebanyakan orang menyebutnya dengan nama owol. Di sana dijual Kaos, Baju, Celana dan Jaket. Memang harganya jauh lebih murah daripada pakaian baru, namanya saja barang bekas. Kata sang penjual pakaian tersebut dari Korea dan China.

Di Kota-kota besar seperti Jogja dan Semarang banyak toko komputer yang menjual peripheral bekas seperti monitor, mainboard, processor pentium 4 ke bawah, memori, hardisk, VGA card, Sound card, bahkan CPU unitan. Memang menguntungkan karena masyarakat tidak sedikit yang melirik barang-barang seperti ini. Kata sang penjual barang-barang ini dari Korea, dan Singapura. yang menjadi pertanyaan saya Indonesia yang mengimpor apa negara-negara tetangga yang membuang? Saya tidak rela Bangsa ini menjadi tempat sampah.

Mungkin memang bangsa ini yang tidak berkarya. Teknologi jauh tertinggal dengan negara lain. Masyarakat masih banyak yang bodoh. Oleh karena itu mari kita berkarya sekuat tenaga semampu kita. Kita mampu apa, maka kita sumbangkan kepada negara. Yuuuk mariiiii…..

Betapa Ganasnya Celeron Core

Setiap denger kata Celeron pasti orang-orang langsung men-judge bahwa itu adalah processor kelas duanya Intel. Processor dengan kualitas yang ga oke. Namun itu adalah pandangan orang ngawur yang ga mudeng komputer sama sekali. Celeron Core adalah processor yang ganas. Peningkatannya teramat jauh dengan Celeron jamannya Pentium 4 alias Celeron D. Bahkan kedahsyatan Celeron Core membabat habis Pentium 4 all series. Betapa entengnya processor ini dioverclock 100% tentu saja dengan pasangan hardware yang memadai, motherboard, ram, dan tentu saja power supply yang mumpuni. (more…)
